Each independently owned Repco Authorised Service workshop offers you an Australian-wide warranty ensuring the goods and services you receive are free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If something does go wrong or you have a question about our Nationwide Warranty, please get in touch with us here. With over 500 Repco Authorised Service centres Australia wide, there are few places you won't find one of our workshops within easy reach. Warranty Period For services provided by any Repco Authorised Service workshop, the warranty is for a period of 12 months or 20,000kms (whichever comes first) from the date of your invoice. Claims If you need to make a claim under the warranty, please contact the Repco Authorised Service workshop that originally completed the work on your vehicle. The workshop where the work was originally performed will be responsible for responding to and accepting claims. If the original workshop can't help, they may authorise another workshop in the network to assist. Terms and Conditions What does the warranty cover? The Repco Authorised Service workshop will have the option of reperforming, replacing or repairing the good or service if it is or becomes defective during the warranty period, at no additional charge.
a.       Where the good or service is replaced, repaired or reperformed pursuant to this warranty, the replacement good or reperformed service will be subject to the terms of this warranty commencing on the date of the original invoice.
b.       If you request for a good to be repaired, your Repco Authorised Service workshop may choose to replace the good with a refurbished good of the same type. The warranty will cover any reasonable diagnosis or scanning fees conducted by the relevant Repco Authorised Service workshop, if such goods or services are later found to be defective. If the work done on your vehicle involves the supply of services from another service provider nominated by the Repco Authorised Service centre, the warranty offered by such service provider will replace this Nationwide Warranty to the extent of such goods .  The Repco Authorised Service centre will advise you of the terms and conditions of such warranty. The rights and obligations under this warranty remain solely with the original Repco Authorised Service workshop that provided you with the product or service. The benefit of this warranty is personal to you and is not transferable. What does the warranty not cover? This warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear and consumable goods such as globes, wipers, and fluids; loss of any data stored in your vehicle like music or phone numbers; and any incidental loss or damage caused by the defect, such as towing fees, loss of profits, loss of use and loss of goodwill or other loss or damage that cannot reasonably be considered to arise normally. This warranty is void if the defect is a consequence of misuse, neglect, abuse, incorrect operation or improper maintenance of the vehicle, accident, or other use that is not otherwise caused by a Repco Authorised Service workshop. How to submit a warranty claim Step 1: Have your original invoice ready. Step 2: Ensure that you make your claim within the warranty period. Step 3:  Please contact the Repco Authorised Service centre that carried out the relevant repairs or maintenance on your vehicle. Their contact details are on  your original invoice.  Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law The goods and services acquired from a Repco Authorised Service workshop comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: to cancel your service contract with us; and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

Car Service, Maintenance & Repairs Ridgehaven

The benefits of seeking further advice from fully qualified Hybrid Car Specialist at West Car Clinic The owner of a Hybrid Nissan Pathfinder was recently recommended to our Carrington St Auto Repairs business in Adelaide by their friend, a regular client of ours, to help resolve an issue. And here we share successful story conducted in our Adelaide CBD workshop. Following on from two different dealer experiences, the customer was being advised that the vehicle was uneconomically viable to repair. Not something you want to hear when you have invested in new technology. The business owner Romeo, in our Adelaide workshop, set about following a proper and logical diagnosis plan. The first step was to collate and verify all the relevant customer information and most importantly the vehicle history. Second was to access the relevant repair and system operation data so a system diagnosis could be made. The third step was to prove the identified component was in fact faulty, because at over $12k for an inverter, ex Japan, plus international air freight, mistakes would be super costly for the client. The last step was to isolate a cause to prevent a repeat failure.   It was established that the inverter was at fault. Once the system had be disabled and made safe, Romeo was able to replace the faulty Inverter with a locally sourced unit. These complex hybrid systems are basically two separate drive trains working in synergy.  Once the inverter had been replaced the next step was to establish and rectify the cause of failure.  The vehicle had been in a minor front end knock several months prior. The customer had missed a small coolant weep. Eventually this system ran dry and stopped leaking. The coolant leak was in the inverter/electrical cooling system, completely separate, to the engine cooling system.   As the inverter also charges the 12v battery which runs all other systems in the vehicle, the integrity of this battery is super critical, despite the battery being fairly new, it most probably had been flattened completely several times during the prolonged repair process and accident history. After several test drives with odd intermittent faults and strange codes, the primary 12v Battery was also replaced completing the repair process. The entire repair saved the customer over $10,000 on the dealer quotes, with a much shorter repair time frame. This is just another example of how the Repco Authorised Service network keeps the cost of repair down for all Australian motorists and provides an honest, fair and economical alternative. At West Car Clinic, we recently carried out a manufacturer’s logbook service on a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid with 60,000km on the clock.
